Meet Britni Rickson.

Q: What is your favorite part about working at Color House Graphics?

A: The people I get to work with each and every day – both coworkers and customers

Q: When people come to you for help, what do they usually want help with?

A: New recipes, how to spell my name correctly, recommendations for good Italian restaurants.

Q: What do you wish you knew more about?

A: Space – astronomy has captivated me since I was little and we know so little about it!

Q: What are you most looking forward to in the next 10 years?

A: Traveling to Europe, Mexico and maybe Australia! Growing up I did not travel much; so now I am on a mission to see as many different countries as I can.

Q: Why did you decide to do the work you are doing now?

A: I grew up in a family of printers, so naturally I was drawn to the industry, and I enjoy working with people, so it is the perfect fit for me.

Q: What website do you visit most often?

A: Amazon – I am always looking for something new to buy to organize the house, or the next big gadget for the kitchen, or to get a good deal on books

Q: If you could live anywhere, where would it be?

A: Either Traverse City, Michigan or Boston, Massachusetts. I don’t see myself living anywhere other than Michigan, and Traverse City would be a great place to retire. Mackinac would be a short drive away and Traverse City offers a variety of delicious food and many vineyards to visit. But if I do move out of the state, it would be to go to Boston, where I could live on the coast and grab lobsters from my back yard.

Q: When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

A: I always wanted to work for NASA and be an astrophysicist. I really wanted to discover new stars and see new planets that no one has ever seen before.
